“The taste of this bread is very rich. The garlic aroma will flare up your appetite. Despite being on diet, I couldn’t resist and had a huge slice. It’s aroma starts making you hungry while the bread is still baking in the oven! You just want to tear into it and salvate it’s crumby rich slice. My mom devoured it with tomato soup, and you could too. It also pairs well with pasta.”

How to make Garlic Bread Recipe
- 2 cups (250 grams) flour
- 5 teaspoons castor sugar
- 2 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon (4 grams) instant dry active yeast
- A pinch Eka powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ cup (60 grams) freshly chopped garlic, more for garnish
- ½ cup water ,for kneading
Sieve flour in a bowl; make a well. Add sugar, yeast, eka powder, salt and garlic powder in bowl, mix well.
Add water and knead it for 5 minutes.
Then add chopped garlic and again knead it for 5 mins.
Place the dough in a bowl, cover it with cling film and let it to rise for 25 minutes.
Shape the dough into long and cylindrical garlic bread and place it on greased baking tray.
Sprinkle it with chopped garlic, apply three vertical cuts on it and again leave it for proofing for 1½ hour.
Bake it at 220 C for 25 minutes.
Use fresh flour for best results.
