½teaspoonblack teaor 1 tea bag
1teaspoon green teaor two tea bags
4cardamoms
½teaspoonfreshly grated ginger
Few mint leaves
Instructions
Just take cinnamon sticks and water in a kettle and bring it to boil. (Also add ginger or cardamon, if using.)
Then reduce heat and simmer for 5-7 minutes until the color of water darkens to reddish brown.
Remove the sticks and then add honey.
Strain the tea and serve with few drops of lemon juice.
To make cinnamon green tea:
Add green tea to the kettle when the color of water has darkened enough. Cover the kettle and turn off the heat. Let it brew for 3-5 minutes. Then serve with honey and lemon.
To make cinnamon black tea:
Add black tea when the color of cinnamon tea has darkened. Simmer for 1 minute and then serve with honey and lemon juice.
Enjoy it hot or store in the fridge and have it cold.

Storage: You can store cinnamon tea in the fridge for two days. And enjoy it hot or cold.Cinnamon: I used Ceylon cinnamon for this recipe and I used 1 large stick of 6 inch broken into 2. Depending on your type of cinnamon and how strong you want the tea to be. The amount of cinnamon used in tea can differ.Sweetener: Honey is most preferred choice. You can use any sweetener or can have it unsweetened as well.Optional add-in: Try to select any one spice and 1 tea.Tea: You can add either black tea or green tea.Spice: Ceylon cinnamon has lovely taste on it own. Use any 1 spice or herb or skip altogether.
