Dried Dates Pudding Recipe

The pudding set really well, enjoy moist and delicious taste of dried dates in this pudding. Delicious and nutritious.

Ingredients

  • 15 dried dates Kharak , Chuara
  • ½ litre milk
  • 3 egg
  • ½ can sweetened condensed milk

Garnish

  • ½ cup cream
  • ¼ cup chocolate syrup
  • 5-6 walnut or almond

Instructions

  • Wash dates thoroughly.
  • Bring milk to boil and add dates. Switch off heat and soak dates overnight. (Keep in fridge when milk cools.)
  • When dates are fully puffed. Remove seeds and blend dates with remaining milk until very smooth.
  • Whisk eggs in a bowl until light and fluffy. Add to the dates mixture.
  • Next mix in condensed milk.
  • Grease the 6 inch bundt cake mold with butter and pour the mixture in tin. ( You can also use a 1 litre dish, it will bake in 25 minutes only.)
  • Bake in preheated oven at 350 for 40 minutes or until set.
  • By switching dates for dried fig and adjusting condensed milk to taste you can make a fig pudding as well.
